New beginning for TicTacPhoto

Brussels, 20 September 2010 – The TicTacPhoto brand, active in the production of personalised Photo Products via the Internet, has been acquired by the company Hemera Photo.

Hemera Photo SPRL purchased the business of the company Kordell & Kordell SA on 6 September 2010. This change of ownership of the TicTacPhoto brand will not have any consequences for TicTacPhoto’s customers. Loyal customers can continue to order their Photo Products as before without any worries. Their customer account (My Account) is still active and includes their accumulated loyalty points. They can also consult their order history.

The products, software and website have not changed. On the other hand, Hemera Photo plans to make numerous improvements for TicTacPhoto. For example, books, calendars and cards will in the future be printed on Kodak NexPress SE3000 Plus. This will improve the print quality: better contrast, depth and focus, as well as a better rendering for black and white and sepia.

We are currently developing new online product creation software, which will also be MAC compatible, and this new software will be launched within the next few months. It will provide in particular more page layout possibilities and will enable customers to create thematic Photobooks where all they will have to do is insert their photos.

Before the end of 2010, TicTacPhoto will propose 3 new products: a fourth Photobook model with a flexible cover, more Fun Products and a new Gift Box.

As TicTacPhoto’s customer base has tripled since 2009, the customer service team will also be rapidly reinforced.

Hemera Photo SPRL began its photo product digital printing activity in 2010 (Books, Canvases, Calendars, Cards, etc.) by taking over the TicTacPhoto brand. Customers create their photo products using the free product creation software which can be downloaded from the site www.tictacphoto.com. Once they have created their Photo Product, customers can place their order online with just a few clicks and a few days later they will receive their Photo Products at the address of their choosing.
